Maybe you’ve been in Seattle for a while but just never dared to try weed before, and you're feeling a little bit curious or want something to help you relax. In any case, you’re looking for legal and high quality cannabis in Seattle, located in the beautiful state of Washington, which by the way, was the first state in the US to legalize the recreational use of marihuana! So here’s a list of the best places to get it.


Uncle Ike’s

  • Locations: Capitol Hill, Central District, Lake City, Olive Way, White Center

With their iconic $2 joints and their various locations, Uncle Ike’s is hard to miss. They’re open every single day – that’s right, including Christmas and New Year’s, pretty much all day long. Their staff is generally super friendly and knowledgeable. They won’t make you feel bad if you don’t really know what you want. They’re there to help with a warm smile. They also have daily sales so keep an eye out for that!


Ganja Goddess 

  • Location: SoDo
  • Hours: Mon-Sat 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. & Sun 10am-9pm

As Seattle's first woman-owned pot shop, Ganja Goddess is an iconic place to visit. It offers premium weed strains, concentrates, and edibles, not to mention its price matching and loyalty rewards!


The Reef

  • Locations: Capitol Hill, Georgetown, Bremerton
  • Hours: Every day from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

With its glittering architecture, you won’t have trouble finding The Riff. They pride themselves for their quality weed products, excellent customer service, and positive in-store experiences. The Riff does a great job displaying their products with their pretty cool window bubbles, and they make sure to give back by donating 5% of their proceeds to local community organizations voted by customers!


Herb’s House

  • Location: Ballard
  • Hours: Every day from 8 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

This cool place is a locally owned and operated shop in Ballard. The vibe is pretty vintage for the area, they pride themselves for their high-quality cannabis (selected by in-house professionals!) at a reasonable price. My personal favorite thing about them is that they support local artists through rotating art displays in their shop.


Have a Heart

  • Location: Belltown, Skyway/SeaTac, Bothell, Greenwood, Ocean Shores

If you are pro-union, this one’s for you. Have a Heart really does have a heart as it is the first dispensary in the whole state of Washington to have a signed union contract. This is fantastic for its employees, as it improves wages and benefits, and it also gives them a say in their work environment. They have a big variety of products, as well as locations.


Rukus - Recreational Marihuana

If you’ve walked through the restaurant paradise that is 15th Avenue in Capitol Hill, you’ve probably passed by the pot shop with the crowe on its logo. With their extensive menu and their daily deals, you are sure to get something fun!
