This website is operated by Retail North LTD (“Operator”, “we”, “us”, “our”) under licence from HØJ LIFE LTD (“Owner”, “HØJ”). Throughout the site, references to “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Retail North LTD acting as the licensed operator of the HOJ.life website. Retail North LTD offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content. These Terms are intended to apply to customers ordering from the United Kingdom, the European Union and European Economic Area, and the United States, subject to the jurisdiction specific provisions set out below.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Definitions
“Owner” refers to HØJ LIFE LTD, the registered entity that owns the HOJ.life website, the HØJ brand, and all intellectual property associated with it.
“Operator”, “us”, “we”, and “our” refer to Retail North LTD, company number NI650267, having its registered address at 54 Scarva Road, Banbridge, BT32 3AU, Northern Ireland, the licensed entity responsible for operating the website, fulfilling orders, and processing transactions.
“Buyer”, “Consumer”, “you”, and “your” refer to the user, customer, or purchaser of goods or services from the Site. “Consumer” specifically means an individual acting for purposes which are wholly or mainly outside that individual’s trade, business, craft or profession.
“Business Customer” means a Buyer purchasing in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession, including wholesale, resale, or distribution accounts.
“Goods” means the goods specified in the Operator’s invoice or order confirmation.
“Contract” means the contract between the Operator and Buyer for the sale and purchase of the Goods, which incorporates these Terms of Service.
“Service” means the website, online store, products, services, and content made available to you through HOJ.life.
“Site” means the HOJ.life website and any associated subdomains.
Online Store Terms and Age Restrictions
By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using this website, you (a) acknowledge that you have read and understand, and are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and that you are agreeing to comply with all applicable laws, rules, policies, and regulations; and (b) represent that you are an adult and have the legal capacity to enter a contract in the jurisdiction where you reside.
HØJ products are sold strictly to adults. The minimum age to access this Site or purchase Goods is 21 years of age, or the age of legal adulthood in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. This includes, without limitation, customers in the United Kingdom, the European Union and EEA, and all states and territories of the United States. Where local law sets a higher minimum age for the purchase of vaping products, cannabis accessories, or similar items, that higher age applies. Misrepresentation of age is the Buyer’s responsibility and constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
We may, at our discretion or where required by law, require age verification at checkout or on delivery. We reserve the right to cancel any order where age cannot be satisfactorily verified.
HØJ products are intended for use with legal materials only. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to ensure that their intended use complies with all laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. Using foreign combustibles or unintended materials may void any warranties.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature. A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time, subject to applicable anti discrimination laws.
You understand that your content (not including credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the Service is provided, without express written permission by us.
The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
Purchasing Goods Online
To make purchases through the Site, Buyers must register and provide personal details, including name, phone number, and email address. Buyers must also provide valid payment details and confirm that they are the person referred to in the billing information provided. Order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of an order by us. We reserve the right to verify orders before processing.
Your Order
Once an order is placed, you will receive an email acknowledgment. This email is not an acceptance of the order. Acceptance and completion of the Contract occur when we dispatch the Goods to you, except where local law provides otherwise. We reserve the right not to accept an order if we cannot obtain payment authorisation, if an item is out of stock, if the order appears fraudulent, or if delivery to your address is prohibited by law.
Accuracy, Completeness and Timeliness of Information
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.
This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to our site.
Price, Payment, and Modifications to the Service
Prices are displayed in the currency selected at checkout and are subject to change without notice. Buyers outside the country of dispatch may incur duties, import VAT, customs charges, and taxes upon arrival in their country, and may also be charged higher shipping costs, all of which are the Buyer’s responsibility unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout. Payment must be received in full before Goods are dispatched.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
Discount codes cannot be stacked, and any running campaigns or discounts are only applicable to non discounted products or services.
Products or Services
Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange according to the Cancellations, Returns and Refunds section below.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear on the Site. We cannot guarantee that your device or monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected. This does not affect your statutory rights as a Consumer.
Delivery
Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated otherwise. Orders may take 3 to 5 business days for processing before shipment. International orders may experience delays due to customs. We are not responsible for delays due to external factors such as supplier issues, labour strikes, courier disruption, weather events, or natural disasters.
For UK and EU Consumers, risk in the Goods passes to you when the Goods are delivered into your physical possession or that of a person identified by you to take possession of them, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Directive 2011/83/EU. For Business Customers and US Buyers, risk passes on delivery to the carrier unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You should inspect Goods on delivery and notify us of any visible damage, shortages, or incorrect items as soon as reasonably possible. Notifying us promptly helps us investigate and resolve issues quickly. This does not limit your statutory rights to reject faulty Goods within the periods provided by applicable consumer law.
Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Consumers in the United Kingdom
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Consumers in the UK have the right to cancel an order for any reason within 14 days of receiving the Goods (the “cooling off period”). To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing at help@hoj.life within 14 days of receipt, stating your decision to cancel. You then have a further 14 days from notifying us to return the Goods.
Goods must be returned in a resalable condition. Where the value of the Goods has been diminished by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may make a proportionate deduction from your refund to reflect that diminished value, as permitted by Regulation 34(9) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We do not charge restocking fees to UK Consumers.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods, or within 14 days of you providing evidence of return, whichever is earlier. Refunds will be made to the original method of payment. The Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the Goods are faulty, misdescribed, or otherwise not in conformity with the Contract.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumers have a short term right to reject faulty Goods within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. After this period, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, or a partial refund. Nothing in these Terms limits these statutory rights.
Consumers in the European Union and EEA
Consumers resident in the EU or EEA have a 14 day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, calculated from the day the Goods are received. To exercise this right, notify us in writing at help@hoj.life. You then have 14 days to return the Goods. We will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of being notified, subject to receipt of the Goods or proof of return. We may reduce the refund to reflect any diminished value of the Goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. We do not charge restocking fees to EU or EEA Consumers.
In addition, EU and EEA Consumers benefit from the statutory legal guarantee of conformity under Directive (EU) 2019/771. Where Goods do not conform to the Contract, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction, or termination of the Contract, in accordance with the law of your country of residence.
Consumers in the United States
US Buyers may return unused, unopened Goods in their original packaging within 30 days of receipt for a refund or store credit, subject to inspection. Return shipping costs are the Buyer’s responsibility unless the Goods are faulty or misdescribed. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within a reasonable time after receipt of the returned Goods. Some states provide additional statutory rights that may apply on top of this policy.
Business Customers and Wholesale Orders
Business Customers and wholesale accounts are not entitled to the statutory cancellation rights set out above, which apply only to Consumers. Returns from Business Customers are accepted only at our discretion, and only where Goods are faulty or where return has been agreed in writing in advance. Where we agree to accept a return from a Business Customer for reasons other than fault or non conformity, a restocking fee of up to 50% of the order value may be applied to cover handling, repackaging and inventory costs, as permitted under business to business contract terms.
Items Excluded from Voluntary Return
The following items are not eligible for voluntary return outside of the statutory cancellation rights above, due to hygiene, safety, or the nature of the product:
• Mouthpieces, screens, filters and other items intended for direct oral contact, once unsealed.
• Mystery boxes, gift sets, and bundles where seals have been broken.
• Custom or personalised items made to your specification.
• Goods which by their nature cannot be returned (sealed Goods unsealed after delivery and not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons, as permitted under Regulation 28(3)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and equivalent EU provisions).
Statutory rights to reject faulty Goods are not affected by this exclusion list.
Limited Warranty
HØJ LIFE LTD provides a limited manufacturer’s warranty on its products, covering manufacturing defects only. The warranty period varies by product and is stated on the product page or in the product documentation. This warranty is offered in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights as a Consumer under applicable law.
Warranty claims require valid proof of purchase. Register your device at https://hoj.life/pages/register. The warranty does not cover:
• Physical damage, wear and tear, water damage, or misuse.
• Consumable parts such as mouthpieces, screens, filters, and accessories.
• Products purchased from unauthorised sellers (for example eBay, Amazon, or third party marketplaces).
• Lost or stolen items.
• Damage caused by use with materials other than those for which the product is intended.
Remedies
The manufacturer’s obligation under this limited warranty is limited to repair or replacement at its discretion. Unauthorised returns void the warranty. This is the manufacturer’s voluntary commercial guarantee and operates in addition to any statutory remedies available to Consumers under UK, EU, or US law.
Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the email and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
Optional Tools
We may provide you with access to third party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control nor input.
You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third party tools, save where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Any use by you of optional tools offered through the Site is entirely at your own risk and discretion, and you should ensure that you are familiar with and approve of the terms on which tools are provided by the relevant third party provider(s).
We may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the website (including the release of new tools and resources). Such new features and/or services shall also be subject to these Terms of Service.

Certain content, products and services available via our Service may include materials from third parties.
Third party links on this Site may direct you to third party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services of third parties.
We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any third party websites. Please review carefully the third party’s policies and practices and make sure you understand them before you engage in any transaction. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third party products should be directed to the third party.
User Comments, Feedback and Other Submissions
If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries) or without a request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, “comments”), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us, subject to applicable data protection law where comments include personal data. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments.
We may, but have no obligation to monitor, edit or remove content that we determine in our sole discretion is unlawful, offensive, threatening, libellous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property or these Terms of Service.
You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your comments will not contain libellous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false email address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third parties as to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their accuracy. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any comments posted by you or any third party.

Where an order is cancelled for this reason, any payment taken will be refunded in full.

Prohibited Uses

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no case shall Retail North LTD, HØJ LIFE LTD, or our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the Service or any products procured using the Service.
Important Statutory Carve Outs
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) breach of statutory rights implied by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, or equivalent legislation in your jurisdiction; (d) defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987 or equivalent EU product liability rules under Directive 85/374/EEC; or (e) any other liability which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
For Consumers in the European Union and EEA, nothing in these Terms affects the mandatory rights granted to you under the consumer protection law of your country of residence, which apply regardless of these Terms.
For Buyers in the United States, some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such states, the above exclusions and limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable state law, and you may have additional rights.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Retail North LTD, HØJ LIFE LTD, and our parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. This indemnification obligation does not apply to Consumers to the extent that it would conflict with mandatory consumer protection law in their country of residence.
Severability
In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service. Such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
Termination
The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.
These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services, or when you cease using our Site.
If in our reasonable judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Service, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice, and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).
Entire Agreement
The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this Site or in respect to the Service constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).
Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms of Service shall not be construed against the drafting party.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland.
Subject to the Consumer carve outs below, you irrevocably and unconditionally agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with the validity, effect, interpretation or performance of these Terms of Service. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods will not apply to these Terms of Service and is hereby expressly excluded.
Consumer Carve Outs
If you are a Consumer resident in the European Union or EEA, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules of law of the country in which you are habitually resident, including the right to bring proceedings in your local courts under Article 18 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels Recast) and to benefit from mandatory consumer protection laws under Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I).
If you are a Consumer resident in England, Wales, or Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you are resident.
If you are a Consumer resident in the United States, nothing in this clause prevents you from exercising any non waivable rights you have under applicable federal or state consumer protection law in your state of residence.
Online Dispute Resolution
Consumers in the European Union may access the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not, however, obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes. Material changes affecting existing Contracts will not apply retrospectively to Consumers without notice and, where required by law, opportunity to object.

Where you are established in the United Kingdom, the European Union or EEA, the United States, or any other jurisdiction with applicable data protection law, the collection and use of personal information is subject to: the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018; the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679); the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) where applicable to California residents; and any other applicable state level US privacy laws.
