Best Recipes For Chocolate Gluten Free Weed Edibles

Estimated 5-minute read

If you’re looking for weed edibles recipes, then you probably already know that edibles are cannabis-infused foods that contain cannabinoids, which are the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis, also known as THC.

Whether you smoke or ingest pot is a matter of personal preference; you may have a favorite way of getting high or even be curious about trying out different ways in which you can consume marijuana. Sometimes it’s nice to dedicate a little bit more time to a weed trip without the hazards of smoking, and that– amongst many other reasonable reasons– is why edibles exist.

Chocolate and weed go hand in hand as music and pot do, and that is why we’ve decided to share with you three of the best gluten-free chocolate recipes found on the internet.

Recipe #1: Classical Gluten-Free Weed Brownies

There is so much beauty in brownies, and I say that deliberately. Brownies are incredible because there’s a universal standard in the way that they’re made, as well as the ingredients used. However, each person has their own way of cooking them so that the result comes out either fudgy, glossy, crusty, with a taste of salt, or even with peanut butter. You name it!

The following recipe is courtesy of Cannabis Cheri, who shares the perfect classic gluten-free weed brownies.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup of cannabis-infused melted butter or coconut oil– depending on whether you want to make your brownies dairy-free as well
  • 1 ¾ cups of almond flour
  • ¼ melted butter
  • 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • 4 temperature-room eggs
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 ¼ teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts or pecan– optional

Step by step instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
  2. Grease a baking pan with kitchen spray or butter.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cannabis-infused oil (or butter) with the sugar, then thoroughly cream them together.
  4. Add cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, and the vanilla extract until they’re all mixed well and combined. Add as much as you like from each ingredient previously mentioned.
  5. Time to add the eggs into the mix! Stir until the entire mixture looks completely smooth. Remember that the eggs must be temperature-room to actually mix evenly with the rest of the batter.
  6. Next, beat in almond flour until it’s well mixed and evenly combined.
  7. Spread the brownie batter in the prepared pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  8. Insert a toothpick into the brownies until it comes out almost clean.
  9. Let it cool for 15 minutes.
  10. Slice them up into squares and enjoy!

Recipe #2: Gluten-Free Double Chocolate Weed Cookies

These double chocolate cookies are to die for, and the fact that they have double chocolate will hide the cannabis taste and make it more subtle than usual. Let’s dive into this recipe from Gluten-Free Cannabis Recipes.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup of cannabis-infused coconut oil
  • ½ cup of white sugar
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
  • 4 cups of almond flour
  • 1 egg

Step by step instructions:

  1. Grease a baking pan with kitchen spray, butter, or parchment paper.
  2. Carefully scoop the coconut oil into a measuring cup; make sure that there are no air pockets, and then place them into a bowl.
  3. Next comes a very important step: Combine the sugar into the bowl until both are completely mixed to ensure that all the THC is evenly distributed. That way, you’ll make sure the cannabis gets into all of the cookies.
  4. Add the egg into the mix and combine everything.
  5. Next, add the salt, baking soda, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder, and then mix everything to combine the ingredients well.
  6. Finally, add the almond flour to the bowl as well as the chocolate chips and keep on mixing it thoroughly.
  7. Use a cookie scoop to put the cookie batter into the baking pan to ensure all the cookies have the same amount of THC. Let them bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the oven and take them out before they look done so they can correctly set at room temperature.

Important: Because these cookies are double chocolate, they won’t turn golden around the edges, making them easy to over-bake. Make sure to be on the lookout!

Recipe #3: Chocolate Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Weed Muffins

Here’s a slightly different proposal that you may want to try out if you're feeling adventurous: Weed muffins. Emjay shares this recipe and promises it's easy for beginners, so try it out and surprise your friends at the next party you’re attending!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of white granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 2 cups of gluten-free white flour
  • ½ cup of cocoa powder
  • ½ cup of buttermilk
  • 1 cup of cannabis-infused butter
  • ½ cup of cannabis-infused butter for the frosting
  • 3 and ½ cups of icing sugar
  • 6 tablespoons of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

Step by step instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
  2. Add muffin liners to a baking pan.
  3. Add the baking soda, white flour, and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Put half of the cannabis-infused butter into a saucepan with 1 cup of water and the cocoa powder.
  5. Set the saucepan’s heat to medium and whisk all the ingredients together until they are well mixed.
  6. Add the vanilla extract, eggs, and buttermilk to the saucepan.
  7. Beat the resulting mixture for between 2 and 5 minutes or whisk it thoroughly.
  8. Remove the saucepan from the burner, add the ingredients into the first bowl with the dry ones, and then mix the resulting muffin batter until it’s totally even.
  9. Carefully pour the cake mixture into the muffin liners placed in the baking pan.
  10. Put the pan inside the oven and bake the muffins for up to 17 minutes. Look out for the muffins from minute 15 and make sure to check them with a toothpick, so they don’t overcook.
  11. While you’re waiting for the muffins to be ready, do the icing! Add your cannabis-infused butter saved for the frosting and all the remaining ingredients into a mixing bowl, then whisk everything together.
  12. Take out the muffins, let them cool and add the icing.
