Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Platform

Manage the daily operation of our Shopify-based e-commerce websites, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Oversee the operational roll-out of fresh features and omni-channel projects, bridging the gap between innovation and execution.
Use data-driven insights to delve into potential issues, pinpointing opportunities for growth and improvement.
Lead project launch activities, forging a clear and effective communication path across business teams.

Business Operations

Act as the pivotal connection for cross-functional teams, orchestrating cohesive relationships to deliver exceptional operational experiences.
Liaise with accountants and our CFO, oversee budgets for all departments, and ensure tax returns are filed on time in the UK, US, and EU.
Design and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies that echo our company culture and vision.
Partner with customer services to analyze and resolve direct to consumer service and order management process opportunities and challenges.
Foster smooth and productive workflows, proactively identifying and seizing new opportunities.
Mentor, train, and develop teammates for career progression and performance improvement.

Logistics

Oversee the day-to-day operations of our direct-to-consumer warehouses, ensuring timely order fulfilment, efficient inventory management, and seamless coordination among multiple warehouse locations.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with logistics providers, couriers, and freight forwarders, ensuring superior carrier and partner performance.
Manage the full shipping and fulfilment cycle, from order processing to billing, prioritising accuracy and efficiency.
Coordinate import and export processes to and from the UK, US, and EU, navigating international trade regulations and logistics complexities.
Drive continuous improvements in fulfilment and carrier operations through strategic planning, focusing on productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Analyse key logistics metrics to identify areas for cost reduction and performance enhancement.
Supervise logistics budgeting and financial planning to optimise spending and resource allocation.
Implement risk management protocols and develop contingency plans to handle emergencies or disruptions, ensuring business continuity and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

5+ years of experience in ecommerce operations management, with a focus on the Shopify platform.
Demonstrated experience in a similar eCommerce / Omni-Channel operations role, preferably within a nimble start-up environment.
Proven skill in managing budgets, understanding profit and loss (P&L) dynamics, and meeting compliance standards for tax returns.
Stellar communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, paired with a keen eye for detail.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, adapting to changing priorities, and delivering results under pressure.
Proven record of driving operational efficiency and achieving tangible results.
Capacity to manage and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Energetic and enthusiastic with a 'can-do' attitude and a sense of urgency.
